Nursing Assistant Program Director - Registered Nurse (RN)

Full-Time | Hybrid | Portland, OR | RN Required

Salary: Competitive, $120K–$130K DOE

Healthcare Recruiters International (HCRI) seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee the academic and operational leadership of the Nursing Assistant Program in Portland, Oregon.

This role leads Nursing Assistant (NA-1, CNA-2) and Medication Aide training programs, ensuring compliance with Oregon State Board of Nursing standards , curriculum excellence, and student success.

Nursing Assistant Program Director - Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of faculty, students, and clinical training programs .
  • Maintain compliance with state and accreditation standards.
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate instructors and clinical teaching associates.
  • Oversee curriculum delivery, class scheduling, and program growth .
  • Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Nursing Assistant Program Director - Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

  • Current Oregon RN license (required)
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred; Master’s ideal
  • Master's degree in Nursing Education preferred
  • 2+ years of RN experience , including long-term and acute care
  • Adult teaching experience or completion of a course on teaching adults
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
