Job Description

Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

Location: Elmhurst, NY

Duration: 13+ weeks (Possible extension based on performance)

Schedule: 5 days/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including alternating weekends & holidays)

Training: 2 weeks (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, includes EPIC training)

Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour (Weekly pay)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) to join our team in Elmhurst, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing general ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting. This is an on-site position with no virtual interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician requests.
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of general ultrasound experience.
  • Setting: Experience in an acute care environment is required.
  • Availability: Must be available for in-person interviews only.
  • Schedule: Able to work 9 AM–5 PM shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays.
  • Training: Must complete a 2-week training period, including EPIC system training.

Compensation & Benefits:
