About the role:
As a Senior Commercial Estimator, you’ll lead the estimating process for a variety of commercial construction projects—from pre-construction through final bid. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely estimates that drive our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects (ground-up, renovations, tenant improvements)
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between estimates and execution
What their looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
