Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Full-time, Various Shifts (Clinic hours, typically days).
• Direct Patient Care & Coordination: Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions in an outpatient cardiology setting. Assist in developing and implementing care plans, applying independent clinical judgment. Prioritize and coordinate daily patient flow to enhance the patient experience.
• Patient Advocacy & Education: Serve as a primary educational resource for patients and families on cardiovascular health, medications, and disease management. Listen to concerns, respond proactively, and communicate necessary information to the care team and family members.
• Clinical Documentation & Safety: Deliver safe, effective care according to established policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, care provided, patient education, and any incidents.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and other clinic staff to ensure cohesive patient care planning and execution.
• Professional Development & Leadership: Maintain professional competencies and seek growth opportunities. Contribute to a positive work environment, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and may mentor others. Uphold all confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiology, Ambulatory/Clinic Care, BLS, Patient Education
• Licensure: Current South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license with privilege to practice in SC.
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire. ACLS may be preferred or required after hire.
• Experience: Previous experience in Cardiology, Telemetry, Ambulatory Care, or a related clinical setting is highly preferred. New graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment, coordinate care, and provide compassionate, patient-centered support. Basic computer skills for documentation are required.
