Initial Contract: $160.00/day (Three-Month 1099 Contract)

Potential Full-Time Pay Range: $30,000-$40,000 per year

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Jr. Photo Retoucher for Ecom Product Images at WOLFpak in Costa Mesa, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and enhancing high-quality product photography to meet WOLFpak's e-commerce and marketing standards. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Image Retouching: Performing detailed cleaning, blemish removal, and color correction on product images of athletic backpacks, apparel, and gear.
• Background Management: Accurately isolating products from their backgrounds, ensuring clean edges and uniform white or transparent backgrounds as required for various platforms.
• Color Consistency: Matching product colors accurately across multiple shots and ensuring color fidelity to the physical product for all digital assets.
• Image Optimization: Cropping, resizing, and optimizing images for various e-commerce platforms, social media, and digital marketing campaigns while maintaining image quality and file size efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all retouched images adhere to WOLFpak's brand guidelines and technical specifications for visual style and quality.
• Collaboration: Working closely with photographers, marketing, and e-commerce teams to understand project requirements, deadlines, and visual objectives.
• Asset Management: Assisting with the organization, archiving, and management of digital image assets, adhering to strict naming conventions and folder structures.

A portfolio demonstrating strong image retouching and editing work, particularly with product photography, is required for consideration.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with professional image editing software, primarily  Adobe Photoshop and  Lightroom .
• Foundational understanding of photography principles, including composition, lighting, and color theory, as it applies to image retouching.
• Demonstrated experience in e-commerce product image retouching, showcasing attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for visual consistency and quality.
• Knowledge of the athletic and fitness industry is a plus.
