What would you be doing as a Maintenance Technician?

The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on facility equipment and property systems.

But what does this role really do?

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on machinery, HVAC
• systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
• Schedule, coordinate and oversee onsite work performed by external vendors, including scheduling, access and completion of service tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working condition.
• Assist with the installation of new machinery or systems when needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support other departments with maintenance-related needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

You would be a great fit if you have the following...

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or related role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently or a part of a Team.
• Familiar with safety practices and regulatory compliance (OSHA).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
• Certification in HV AC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred.
