Job Description

Position description : The Facilities Assistant will provide support for the care and upkeep of all church facilities and all approved church events including maintenance, cleaning, set-up, and repair activities. This position reports to the Facilities Director.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support for facility repairs and maintenance.
• Maintenance of grounds relative to landscaping and accessibility (snow/salt).
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of all rooms, restrooms, common areas, and sanctuary spaces.
• Provide oversight and assistance support to staff and non-staff functions at the church.
• Support key/security systems and assure building lock-up.

• Be in an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus.
• Able to work weekend or evening events as needed.
• Ability to collaborate and connect relationally with people.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter.
• Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel (CCC).

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout church facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
• Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.
