Electroplating Technician

Duration: 6-month contract to permanent

Hours: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Tampa, FL or 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Oldsmar, FL

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00/hr

Role Overview:

Operate and support metal coating processes while ensuring quality and safety standards. Work with HMIs and equipment to produce required output. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor data logs, gauges, and charts to ensure process accuracy.
• Measure parts for weight, dimensions, and surface quality.
• Identify and address surface imperfections.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as washers, ovens, and surface treatment systems.
• Assemble/disassemble and maintain coating fixtures.
• Assist with material loading and standard rebuild tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and able to work independently or in a team.
