Job Title: Associate Attorney (Employment Law)

Location: Pasadena, California

Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days Remote / 2 Days In-Office)

Our client is a well-established California law firm with a strong reputation in employment and labor law. The firm represents employers across a variety of industries and is known for providing hands-on training, mentorship, and meaningful responsibility early in an attorney’s career.

The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Employment Law practice group in Pasadena. This role is open to fresh graduates and junior attorneys who are eager to build a career in employment law within a collaborative, supportive environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days remote .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with employment law matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour claims
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
• Support case management from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Work closely with senior attorneys on litigation strategy, mediation, and trial preparation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission (or recently admitted/awaiting admission)
• Open to fresh law graduates with a strong interest in employment law
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Motivation to learn, take initiative, and grow within a team-oriented practice

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is up to $130,000 , depending on factors such as geographic market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
