Environment, Health and Safety Manager

• Must have 5 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Washington State regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with incident investigations, audits, and compliance programs.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our project sites. This role is critical in ensuring the health and safety of employees, contractors, and visitors by developing and enforcing comprehensive safety programs that meet local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead development and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide health and safety initiatives, ensuring full OSHA alignment and cross-site accountability.
• Design and implement site-specific safety plans and programs.
• Conduct routine audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory standards.
• Deliver safety training and education programs for employees and contractors.
• Perform scheduled and random inspections of safety tools and equipment.
• Evaluate safety technologies and equipment for reliability and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety compliance program management (preferred).
• Experience in industrial cleaning processes and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with permitting compliance and environmental management systems.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training and compliance programs.
• Experience working with clients in manufacturing, petrochemical, food processing, or heavy industry.
• Experience in negotiating and strong internal/external communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
