A fast-growing supplement ingredient distributor based in Southern California is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a new warehouse facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for streamlining day-to-day operations, managing a small team, and expanding third-party logistics (3PL) services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse and logistics operations, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to contribute to business growth through operational efficiency and customer relationship management. Candidates with experience or existing relationships in the supply chain, fulfillment, or CPG sectors are highly encouraged to apply.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse functions: receiving, shipping, storage, and order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, SOPs, and food safety regulations
• Oversee freight coordination and optimize shipping schedules and procurement
• Implement inventory control systems: cycle counts, lot tracking, and audits
• Supervise and schedule labor, including use of temporary staff as needed
• Operate and optimize WMS/ERP platforms to track inventory and order flow
• Build and support relationships with 3PL clients, identifying growth opportunities
• Train, coach, and manage warehouse staff to meet safety and performance goals
• Develop and enforce SOPs and lead process improvement initiatives
• Monitor KPIs and maintain documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance

🧠 Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehouse, 3PL, or logistics operations with leadership responsibilities
• Experience in wholesale, supplement, food, or CPG environments is a plus
• Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP, NetSuite) and Excel
• Familiarity with GMP standards, OSHA guidelines, and food-grade handling practices
• Proven ability to hire, train, and lead warehouse teams
• Entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and operational efficiency
• Client-facing experience or existing logistics/supply chain contacts is preferred
• Forklift certification or practical experience with warehouse equipment
