Summary

As the brand is growing, so is our team! Egglife Foods is looking for a talented Warehouse Manager to join our Operations team, reporting to the Plant Manager. This position, you will be responsible for leadership and performance of the warehouse for the plant product flow from inbound ingredients to finished product as well as a leader to all support teams inside the plant. You will be accountable for delivering the performance and maintaining a high level of standards – ie. GMP's, safety and food safety, SOP's and work instructions, direction, strategy across shipping, receiving, inventory management, distribution transportation and production scheduling.

Essential job functions

Working with guidance and support from the Plant Manager, but with expected autonomy you will:

• Oversee and be responsible for all operational performance and activities of the warehouse.
• Provide leadership, direction, and development of warehouse, shipping and receiving team members through active leadership. Develop shipping and receiving teams, truck scheduling, dock scheduling, staffing assignments, and customer and intercompany shipping activities on shift.
• Manage and control warehouse inventory for the facility, including finished product and raw materials and ingredients.
• Develop and maintain KPI metrics and other reporting tools
• Work with operators to create, develop and implement all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the department.
• Supervise the scheduling and forecasting for plant production based on sales needs and customer demand.
• Help set up of the inventory control system and the weekly/monthly inventories to ensure compliance, accountability and business results.
• Lead and support the continual improvement of all Company standard programs related to Food Safety, Quality, Compliance and other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to our knowledge base, thought leadership, and company culture through your unique character and skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business or related field is preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in an operations / warehouse role within a manufacturing setting or CPG environment.
• Demonstrated ability to train, develop and manage direct reports.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Materials Supervision / Warehouse food product development, with a focus on prepared foods
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Highly collaborative with the ability to lead through influence
• Self-starter and intellectually curious.Comfortable with ambiguity
• Experience working in small and large companies preferred
