Job Description

Duration : 13 weeks (Possible extension)
Shift : Days, M-F
Hours : 40/week

Position Summary: To provide quality nursing care to all patients. To serve as a viable member of the nursing staff, utilizing scope of practice. Provide care to all patients with respect of patient rights and dignity. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending on assigned area of Long Term Care facility.

Position Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Graduate from an LNL school for LPN's or LVN's.
• Minimum Experience: New graduates accepted. One (1) year experience within hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
• Licensing/Certification: Must be licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a LPN. Current CPR certification (BCLS) required. Current BLS. The successful candidate will be required to pass and maintain competencies for this position. IV certification course
• Equipment/Tools: Office machines (i.e., multi-line telephone, computer, fax machine, etc.) Medical equipment such as Dynamapp, thermometers, Datascope, Pulse Oximetry

Note: Housing provides by facility. Male or Female only units, shared common space, private bedroom. Traveler/Agency responsible for booking travel to and from Bethel but Facility will reimburse at BASE fare for flights to assignment and at the end of assignment.
