Akkodis is seeking a Sr Principal Software Systems Engineer for a 10-month contract with a client in Raleigh, NC 27615 (Onsite).

Title: Sr Principal Software Systems Engineer - Medical Devices

Location: Raleigh, NC 27615 (Onsite)

Duration: 10 months, Contract with possible extension

Pay Rate: $70-75/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

What You'll Bring

• To thrive in this role, you should possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, complemented by 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Experience with electro-mechanical devices is preferred, showcasing your ability to bridge software and hardware solutions.
• A background in agile development, with hands-on experience in creating and maintaining product backlogs.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Familiarity with working in a regulated industry, demonstrating your understanding of compliance and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent documentation skills, ensuring that all technical specifications and processes are meticulously recorded and maintained.
