About

As the Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring supplier performance and driving cost efficiency. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies, managing relationships and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proactive, solution-based approach to drive innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of sourcing strategies for materials, including bid management, market analysis, and cost optimization
  • Evaluate costing for repeat SKUs on a regular basis for any benefit from global market conditions, raw material and currency fluctuation
  • Perform in-depth analysis, and develop a deep understanding of market drivers, and cost structures across the various categories
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure supply continuity and product quality.
  • Lead the new product development RFQ process, utilizing market analysis to support strategic decision-making in supplier selection and approval.
  • Lead supplier performance, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Forster and develop strategic relationships with a global supplier base to increase quality while minimizing cost.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of Global Sourcing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and strong tactical skills.
  • Works independently with ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to attend off hour meetings with suppliers and overseas offices
