The Sr. IT Project Manager will support services for HRD Directorate are in support of the HRD Personnel and Payroll Systems Division. (PPSD). This scope sub-area provides for IT services-based solutions which involve emerging technology (ET) innovation to securely accelerate transformation and advance mission outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager shall:

• Supervise staff and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure adherence to established IT service management processes, incident handling, and escalation procedures.
• Support the Program Manager in delivering high-quality service consistent with contract requirements and Government expectations.
• Provide timely customer support, issue resolution, and service reporting, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Prepare and submit operational performance reports and briefings to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Government stakeholders as directed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of staff training, mentoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as acting Program Manager in the Program Manager’s absence, including representing the Contractor to the Government.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT service delivery teams.
• Strong managerial, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to resolve problems effectively, balancing customer satisfaction with operational efficiency.

Desired Qualifications

• Federal program management or IT operations management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with federal IT service environments, requirements, and reporting processes.
