Salary: $101,000 - 203,000 per year Requirements:

• An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is current and must be maintained.
• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience unless otherwise specified.
• Experience as a Signals Software Engineer or equivalent, with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF), including knowledge of Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, and signals analysis tools, as well as digital signal processing.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and modify software systems utilizing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to incorporate signal processing software with satellite ground systems.
• Develop and execute algorithms for signal processing, including Fourier transforms, digital signal processing, and RF signal processing.
• Analyze and optimize signal processing algorithms to enhance performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to signal processing software.
• Lead one or more software development teams and ensure adherence to the software development process constraints on any project.
• Comply with established software processes and procedures for development, documentation, and operations concepts and requirements management.
