Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior .NET Developer with expertise in containerized applications and modern data mesh architectures. This role offers the opportunity to work with new technologies in a cloud-native environment, building scalable and resilient distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop containerized .NET applications following cloud-native principles

• Implement and maintain Kubernetes deployments across multiple environments

• Architect scalable solutions using event-driven patterns with Kafka

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data mesh architectures

• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability

• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards

• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision records

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in .NET development and containerized application implementation

• Proven experience with container technologies (Docker, container orchestration)

• Strong background in Kubernetes-based deployments including cluster management, service configuration, and CI/CD pipelines

• Architecture experience with designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems

• Hands-on experience with data mesh technologies , particularly Apache Kafka for event streaming and message processing
• Proficiency in .NET Core/.NET 8+ and C#
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, Secrets)
• Experience with containerization best practices and multi-stage Docker builds
• Understanding of micro services architecture patterns
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and stream processing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

Database Technologies

• SQL proficiency - complex query writing, stored procedures, performance optimization

• NoSQL database experience with technologies such as:

• MongoDB
• DynamoDB
• Redis
• Elasticsearch

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, or similar)

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Data dog, Open Telemetry (OTEL)

• Familiarity with API gateway patterns and service mesh architectures

• Understanding of data pipeline orchestration tools

• Experience with schema registry and data serialization formats.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $85,000.00 to $120,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributor in an in a Software Development position.
