About the Role

As a Senior Estimator, you’ll play a key role in securing new work and supporting our operations team with accurate, thoughtful estimates. You’ll lead bids for public works and private development projects, and prepare estimates for self-perform scopes including grading, paving, wet utilities, and concrete. You’ll also contribute to general contracting opportunities across Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and JOC delivery methods.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze project plans and specifications to develop scope, labor, and equipment costs
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing using production-based or unit price estimating
• Lead estimating efforts on assigned bids and mentor junior staff
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
• Help refine and improve estimating tools, processes, and training resources

What You Bring

• 8+ years of heavy civil estimating experience with a self-performing contractor
• Strong knowledge of grading, paving, wet utilities, and concrete scopes
• Familiarity with Arizona municipal specs and delivery methods (DBB, CMAR, JOC)
• Proficiency in estimating software (InEight, HeavyBid, OST, Agtek) and Microsoft Office
