Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive  Senior   Demand Planner to join our growing team. This role is critical to driving supply chain efficiency by developing accurate demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and aligning cross-functional teams around planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in demand planning tools (especially Netstock), a deep understanding of forecasting methodology, and a collaborative approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting & Analysis

• Update demand forecasts based on in-depth analysis of sales trends, market dynamics, and other relevant factors, ensuring precision and alignment with business goals.
• Utilize Netstock's forecasting and replenishment features to generate accurate demand forecasts and optimize inventory levels.
• Analyze Netstock data to generate reports, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in demand planning and inventory management.
• Conduct regular reviews with management of demand planning processes and proactively make recommendations for improvement.
• Recommend optimal timing for placing orders to suppliers based on updated demand forecasts, lead times, and inventory targets.

Planning System Management

• Manage and maintain the overall operation and ownership of planning software,  Netstock , including system configuration and data integrity.
• Drive system improvements and process automation within Netstock or other planning tools to enhance usability and planning efficiency.
• Ensure the integrity of master data across ERP, planning, and inventory systems.

Inventory & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate the building out of shipment plans and full container loads to optimize logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive ownership of the product database.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather input for demand forecasts, understand promotional activity, and align planning assumptions.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure demand plans are consistent with revenue goals and financial targets.
• Serve as the key liaison between Supply Chain, Product, and Logistics teams to align demand forecasts with inventory and fulfillment strategies.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Track and improve planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
• Lead root cause analysis on forecast errors or inventory issues, developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Stay current on best practices and tools within demand planning and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

· 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or forecasting roles.

· Expertise in Netstock or similar demand planning software; NetSuite experience preferred.

· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.

· Proven ability to manage planning processes independently, with measurable success in improving forecast accuracy and reducing excess inventory.

· Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Effective at multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

· Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

· Efficient and accurate in data entry and database management.

Compensation

• Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
• Benefits include Healthcare, Dental, Vision, and 401k
