We’re currently hiring a School Nurse (LPN or RN) for a school district in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, for the 2025–2026 school year.

This is a full-time position supporting an elementary school, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:50 AM – 2:55 PM. The role begins August 27, 2025, and runs through June 2026. The caseload includes student transport on the van.

Responsibilities:

• Take vital signs and monitor student health.
• Prepare nutrition including medical feedings (G-tube, J-tube, bottle, thickening).
• Provide toileting support, including colostomy bag care.
• Manage and monitor seizures.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Consult with the school nurse and collaborate with classroom and behavior staff.
• Work effectively with all staff to implement students' individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Observe, collect data, and report on student progress to the Special Educator and Classroom Teacher.
• Provide instruction to designated students in a structured classroom environment.
• Accompany students to general education classrooms, specialists, and other areas outside the special education classroom.

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts LPN or RN license.
• Experience in school-based nursing or pediatric care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical procedures including G-tube/J-tube feedings, colostomy care, and seizure management.
• Strong collaboration, observation, and documentation skills.
