Position: Safety Manager

Location: Adamstown, Maryland

Pay Range: $150,000 - $190,000

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience managing safety on large, complex construction projects (data centers, industrial, advanced manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the workforce.
• Proven ability to lead teams and promote a strong safety culture.
• Skilled in identifying hazards and implementing proactive solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction technology tools (Procore, safety apps).

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety for major projects, partnering with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and issue corrective actions when needed.
• Manage safety orientations and maintain accurate records.
• Lead safety discussions in preconstruction and subcontractor meetings.
• Organize toolbox talks, safety standdowns, and maintain documentation.
• Collect and manage subcontractor safety plans and certifications.
• Investigate incidents and collaborate on corrective measures.
