Position: Safety Manager

Location: Adamstown, Maryland

Pay Range: $150,000 - $190,000

Requirements

8+ years of experience managing safety on large, complex construction projects (data centers, industrial, advanced manufacturing).
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the workforce.
Proven ability to lead teams and promote a strong safety culture.
Skilled in identifying hazards and implementing proactive solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction technology tools (Procore, safety apps).

Responsibilities

Lead on-site safety for major projects, partnering with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans.
Conduct regular safety inspections and issue corrective actions when needed.
Manage safety orientations and maintain accurate records.
Lead safety discussions in preconstruction and subcontractor meetings.
Organize toolbox talks, safety standdowns, and maintain documentation.
Collect and manage subcontractor safety plans and certifications.
Investigate incidents and collaborate on corrective measures.
