Retail Pharmacy Tech Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of clerical, distributive, technical and data-gathering duties to provide medications to patients and support the pharmacists
• Dispense and deliver medications efficiently
• Serve pharmacy customers by obtaining and recording demographics, verifying insurance and handling cashiering duties
• Manage insurance and third-party billing functions, including data entry of demographics, obtaining prior authorizations, maintaining files and investigating errors in submissions
• Engage in cross-training in remote dispensaries and other specialized areas

Retail Pharmacy Tech Requirements:

• 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Wisconsin State Pharmacy Technician registration and license

• Experience within automation, including filling tasks and processing prescriptions
• Strong attendance record and the ability to remain focused throughout your shift
• Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift
• Tech-savvy with a capacity to adapt to new technologies
• No patient interactions required
• May be required to work every other Saturday depending on needs
• Casual but appropriate attire required
• Free parking available on-site
