Client is looking for a project manager to oversee IT deployments for their retail locations nationwide. Qualifications are as follows:
Must-haves
5+ years experience in project management
Background technology deployment, specifically hardware transaction systems (Work stations/ tablets, cabling, networking, ISP, etc.)
Experience managing 3rd party vendors (Low voltage, construction, etc.)
Experience working with VARs for preconfigured devices
Experience overseeing retail build outs, construction, deployments
Knowledge around cabling, networking, routers/ switches, wireless access points, printers, TVs, etc.
Strong Excel and MS office skills

An employer is looking for a Retail Deployment Project Manager in the Frisco, TX area. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee retail construction and technology deployment for the clients nationwide retail footprint. You will provide oversight for new device and technology deployment for existing and new retail locations. These deployments will consist of new construction, technology upgrades, network devices (Wireless access points, routers), tablets/ mobile devices, cabling, and other associated products. You will work with the VARs for all preconfigured devices and ensure vendors have the correct materials/ equipment needed on time at the proper locations. You will remotely supervise 3rd party low voltage vendors that will be the boots on the ground doing the construction and deployment and ensure each project/ location is on time, within budget and aligning with the forecasted project timeline.
