The Allegheny Health Network has an opening for a Radiation Oncologist at our comprehensive Cancer Institute at AHN Saint Vincent in Erie, PA!

Highlights:

• New state-of-the-art Cancer Institute with on-site medical oncology and radiation oncology services.
• Dedicated patient supportive services: a nurse navigator, a dietitian, social workers, and financial counselors.
• APEX accredited center offering a full range of treatment modalities including 3DCRT, IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, Permanent LDR, and Vaginal Cylinder HDR brachytherapy.
• Established history of providing high quality Radiation Oncology services to our patients across 17 hospital-based and freestanding facilities in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio.
• Full time physics and dosimetry support
• Opportunities for collaborative research and protocol enrollment are available.
• AHN Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology currently employs 19 physicists and 22 physicians.

Duties:

• Provide state of the art care to patients
• Participate in active multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Experience with clinical trials (available and encouraged)

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
• SBRT, and LDR prostate brachytherapy experience preferred but not required.
• Recent graduates and experienced Radiation Oncologists will be considered.
• The successful candidate should have demonstrated clinical skills and have a proven record of exceptional interactive skills with colleagues, patients, and staff.
