Python Developer (AWS) – 8 Years Experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Architect and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation).
• Optimize backend performance, ensure system reliability, and implement security best practices in AWS environments.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services, and manage secure authentication/authorization.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; perform unit and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems for optimal performance.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in architecture discussions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of backend development (Python), with hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful API design, and serverless applications.
• Proficient with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred), container orchestration, and Linux/Unix administration.
• Familiarity with security protocols (IAM, encryption, network configs).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
