A leading design practice in the San Francisco Area is seeking a Principal-level Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a passionate and design-forward professional who is looking to take a leadership position in shaping impactful, innovative, and sustainable landscapes across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of complex landscape architecture projects from concept through construction.
• Provide creative direction and design vision while mentoring junior and mid-level staff.
• Serve as a primary client contact, cultivating strong relationships and ensuring design excellence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, urban designers, planners, and engineers.
• Guide project teams through regulatory processes, technical documentation, and construction administration.
• Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, interviews, and thought leadership.
• Act as a strategic voice within the studio, contributing to growth, culture, and long-term direction.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA) from an accredited program.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Licensure as a Landscape Architect.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual strength, technical knowledge, and a range of project types.
• Proven leadership in managing teams and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
