Hydro Mechanical of Ohio is a Growing Central Ohio Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Contracting company ready to hire a qualified Plumbing/HVAC Estimator and Preconstruction Manager. We are a local owned company with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. With a proven track record for working with the right customers and on the right projects!

Hydro Mechanical is looking for the right candidate to manage our Preconstruction division. This individual will be responsible for the oversight of all the project bid submissions. Ensuring comprehensive bids include all required RFI and addendum interims identified. While working with our internal team for job set up, Fixture and PVF buyouts and preconstruction tasks are performed in a timely manner. Ensuring we review all projects for value engineering savings or opportunities.

Job Minimum Qualifications:

· Ability to oversee team of Estimators internal and external

· Develop and Identify opportunities- Projects (Manage Pipeline)

· Develop/Establish/Maintain relationships with customers and preconstruction personnel

· Follow up with customers on open bids and opportunities

· Attend scope review meetings with customers to ensure comprehensive bids

· Proven track record/references with at least 3 -5 years Plumbing/HVAC estimating experience

· Proven track record/reference with at least 5-10 years – Plumbing/HVAC Field experience

· Perform accurate material and labor take off. Development of a comprehensive estimate

· Ability to read, understand and apply plumbing codes and Blue Prints

· Ability to work with Internal team to manage fixture and PVC Buyouts and Submittal Processing

· Ability to work with Project Coordinators on jobs to ensure Buyouts, Budgets, Schedule of Values and submittals are created/submitted to meet project needs

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Estimating Software

· Proficient with Trimble Auto Bid Mechanical / Estimating Software

· Valid Driver’s license and Reliable Transportation

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including Evenings or weekends as needed to meet deadlines.

· Submit to drug testing and background check
