Job Description

Program Summary : The Program Director position for this non profit offers care coordination and short-term intensive clinical case management for clients with serious mental health issues, aiming to reduce hospital readmissions and provide short-term housing resources.

Salary and Hours : Hourly salary ranges from $48-52 for part-time work (24-29 hours per week).

Position Purpose : The Program Director oversees the program, providing administrative and clinical leadership, managing day-to-day activities, and ensuring compliance with county guidelines.

Reporting Relationship : Reports to the General Manager of Programs and Clinics.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and manage daily operations.
• Develop and monitor the program budget.
• Supervise documentation and quality improvement.
• Hire, train, and manage staff.
• Input data into the HMIS system.
• Provide direct clinical services to clients.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Expertise in bio-psychosocial assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and community integration.
• Knowledge of community resources and client care coordination.
• Skills in program administration, budgeting, and office management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong communication skills.

Education and Work Experience : Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field, and licensure as a Licensed Mental Health professional. Four years of experience in mental health settings, including two years in a managerial role.

Licenses, Certifications, and Special Requirements : Licensed by the State of California as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Clinical Psychologist. Valid Class B California Driver’s License with passenger endorsement, clear TB test, and CPR certification.
