Location: Westlake Village, CA

Status: Part-Time (with potential to transition into Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Perform general office administration including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Assist with fingerprinting (training provided).
• Organize case files and maintain accurate records.
• Support investigators with scheduling, correspondence, and follow-up.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Assist with compliance documentation and other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience .
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, PDF editing, etc.).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career in private investigations.
• Prior administrative or office experience.
• Familiarity with law enforcement or investigative work (not required, but a plus).
• Investigative Reporting and General Investigation skills
• Experience in conducting Claim Investigations and supporting fraud investigations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Experience in the legal or investigative field is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

• This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly $20 - $24 depending on experience) position in compliance with California labor laws.
• Flexible scheduling with potential for increased hours.
• Opportunity for transition into full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
• Qualifying hours may count toward the California Private Investigator license requirement (Business & Professions Code §7522).
