Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all maintenance activities for a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability and smooth operation of plant equipment and services while managing and developing the maintenance team to meet organizational goals. This is a 24/7 facility.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

• Direct and approve daily, weekly, and long-term work schedules for the maintenance team
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
• Lead team meetings, provide feedback, and manage performance evaluations, goal setting, recognition, and corrective actions as needed
• Facilitate and verify training in troubleshooting, safety, and maintenance skills

Operations

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
• Monitor and report key maintenance metrics (response time, PM effectiveness, repair costs, etc.)
• Manage resources including staff, tools, and parts efficiently and cost-effectively
• Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment, resolve issues proactively, and document maintenance activities in a CMMS system
• Support capital improvements, equipment installations, and engineering projects in coordination with leadership
• Maintain inventory of equipment and parts; order supplies as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in maintenance, engineering, or facilities management
• 5+ years in a leadership role within maintenance operations
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and industrial machinery
• Proven ability to manage preventive maintenance programs and optimize equipment performance
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred

• Experience in press, printing, or high-speed production environments
