Job Description
A recognized services organization in Illinois is actively seeking a new Distribution Services Specialist to support production planning and fulfillment operations. In this role, the Distribution Services Specialist will be responsible for processing printed materials, packaging, and managing distribution workflows during a system migration from Oracle to Dynamics 365 (D365).
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: Approximately 2 months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Setting: Fully onsite
Responsibilities
- Manage Oracle workflow for PSRs (Product Service Requests), Evaluations, and Kit Instructions
- Monitor and respond to inquiries via the Production Planning email box
- Pack program packets for shipment
- Close program packets in the Scores system
- Open and process inbound slide returns
- Assemble and pack bulk shipments
- Prepare and pack second and late fulfillments
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Outlook & Teams proficiency
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in a Mailroom / Production environment (e.g., UPS, warehouse)
- Experience with Oracle systems or familiarity with Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Previous experience in a Fulfillment or Distribution setting
- Working knowledge of Oracle (CAP Project Super User & iProcurement access)
- Experience with OpenText Output Manager (VPOM)
