Opportunity Snapshot:

• Compensation: $125-150/hour
• Location: Midland, TX
• Assignment Duration: Long-term, 12+ months
• Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
• Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k), Holidays and PTO
• Some field travel required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to work directly with field operations and leadership
• Exposure to breadth of EM capabilities in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

• Part of broader Upstream Operations Continuous Improvement Community
• Good steppingstone for someone with limited-to-no Ops experience to get involved directly in front lines
• Engage with all levels of the local field operations organization to embed the principles and structure of the Lean Management Framework, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Develop being certified as Lean Coach (Level 3 skill)
• Lead lean projects to drive continuous improvement across Permian operations
• Lead larger, more complex end-to-end projects that directly link to strategic objectives (ex. Team-based routing, Dashboarding, etc.)
• Leverage EM Lean Standard to identify lean projects in support of key business goals
• Coordinate calculation, tracking and validation of project benefits
• Develop Lean Practitioners
• Provide Lean Awareness and LP training
• Coach 2-5 LPs toward certification and completion of lean projects
• Provide Leadership Coaching. Provide Lean Leader training
• Coach leadership in principles of Lean including Leaders Standard Work
