Job description:
Support new product development and part qualification for customers. As part of this role, you will perform equipment verification, catalog daily conditions checks, and ensure lab is running per established standards.
Responsibilities:
* Perform daily testing, measuring, and analysis
* Maintain a safe working environment, wear all required PPE, and follow lab safety protocols.
* Support corrosion testing equipment for OEMS by following specific test method procedures.
* Execute detailed reports according to mutually agreed upon timelines and goals.
* Performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting.
* Making measurements
* Performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.
* Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures.
* Performs routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.
* Assisting the lab with daily tasks including general lab support and department maintenance.
* Filling tanks, ensuring the systems are emitting accurate fog, signing in packages, labeling, recording pH levels, taking temperatures, etc.
* Maintain documentation and standards required for ISO 17025 certification
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* High school Diploma / GED
* 0-2 years related experience
* Knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests.
* Detailed-oriented
* Team player
* Good communication skills (verbally and written).
