Per policy current employees are not eligible.** **Position Summary:** The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally. **Qualifications** **$15,000 Sign on Bonus offered for fully qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.** **Minimum Qualifications:** + One (1) year labor and delivery experience as an RN required in an acute care setting. + Associates Degree, Nursing (ADN) + Current California RN license + Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association) + Current ACLS and NRP certifications required within 3 months of hire (American Heart Association) + Basic AWHONN ( fetal monitoring acceptable at hire, but must complete the Intermediate AWHONN ( course within 6 months hire + AWHONN ( Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two years thereafter or obtain NCC Fetal Monitoring Certification and maintain as specified **Preferred Qualifications:** + One (1) year Labor and delivery C/Section/PACU, OBED, Postpartum/Newborn Nursery Unit experience \#refer2DH Employee referral bonus eligible for fully qualified hires. \#RN@DH **Overview** Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento was built in 1973 and is committed to providing daily excellence in health care for residents of Sacramento's southern suburbs, including the Elk Grove, Wilton, and Galt communities.
