About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Appian Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to learn, passionate about technology, and ready to build a strong career in low-code development. You will receive structured training, mentorship, and hands-on project experience to help you grow into a skilled Appian professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and develop applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Appian applications.
- Develop and maintain Appian process models, interfaces, and integrations.
- Implement workflows and customize functionalities as per project needs.
- Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Support troubleshooting and optimize performance for existing applications.
- Participate in the full application development lifecycle, including design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Assist in creating technical documentation and user guides.
- Continuously improve your skills through training, certifications, and hands-on assignments.
What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (Java, Python, SQL, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- High motivation, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be local to the Overland Park / Kansas City area.

- Exposure to Appian or other low-code/no-code platforms.
- Experience through internships, academic projects, or personal tech initiatives.
- Understanding of workflow automation and SDLC.
