Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Special Services Manager to lead and coordinate specialty cleaning projects and oversee special services at multiple client sites within the Northern VA/DMV area. This role is responsible for managing teams, ensuring service excellence, maintaining client relationships, and driving operational efficiency for special services such as floor care, carpet cleaning, high-level detail work, and post-construction cleanup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of special services projects within the assigned area.
- Schedule, dispatch, and supervise crews for specialized cleaning and maintenance services.
- Coordinate with operations and account managers to schedule special projects and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control, adherence to safety standards, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and providing proactive solutions.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure availability and proper use of specialized equipment and supplies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of special services staff.
- Monitor labor costs, supply usage, and project budgets to meet financial targets.
- Complete necessary reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Respond to emergency service requests or last-minute changes with flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, stocked, and operated according to company standards.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in janitorial, facilities maintenance, or related industry.
- Proven knowledge of specialty cleaning techniques, equipment, and floor care processes.
- Proficient in floor care and carpet care.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, scheduling tools, and reporting software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to travel between client sites.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, when required.
- Permanent Resident or US Citizen required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) -Required
Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000-$80,000.00/yr
- Special Services jobs not part of the standard account contract completed after business hours and weekends are paid at an hourly rate (in addition to the salary)
- Special Services Company Van (stays on-site at office when not in use, must commute to Sterling, VA)
