**Job Title: Insulator**
**Job Description**
As an Insulator, you will begin your day at our office in Lenexa, where you'll receive the work order before heading to the project site. Your day ends back at the Lenexa office. You will be responsible for installing insulation and spray foam, as well as performing basic measurements. The schedule typically runs from 7am until around 4-5pm, with the possibility of 50-60 hour work weeks during the busy season. Current projects include work on apartment complexes, hotels, and other new and rebuild projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install insulation and spray foam in various settings.
+ Perform accurate measurements and ensure proper fitting of insulation materials.
+ Utilize a range of materials, including spray foam, blown-in blanket, batted wall, and attic insulation.
+ Operate insulation blowers, sprayers, and cutting tools efficiently and safely.
+ Follow OSHA safety standards and use protective gear including respirators, gloves, and goggles.
+ Work in tight, hot, or elevated spaces, which may require climbing ladders or working in attics and crawl spaces.
+ Ensure insulation is installed without gaps or compression to maximize energy efficiency.
+ Conduct thorough inspections to ensure high-quality installations and long-term performance.
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of various insulation types and installation techniques.
+ Proficiency in using tools such as insulation blowers, sprayers, and cutting tools.
+ Physical endurance for working in challenging environments.
+ Attention to safety and proper use of protective gear.
+ Ability to work comfortably at heights and in confined spaces.
+ Detail-oriented with strong quality assurance skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tape measure use.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Valid driver's license required (Class E CDL required for MO drivers).
+ OSHA 10 certification preferred.
+ Experience in drywall, carpentry, painting, or general labor in commercial or residential settings preferred.
+ Ability to take and read basic measurements.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
