Job Description

EthosEnergy are currently looking for an Income Tax Contractor to be based from our Houston facility. The purpose of this role is to prepare Federal and State Partnership returns for the joint venture partnership.

Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of the Federal, state and local income and franchise tax returns, separate and consolidated tax provisions, federal and state tax estimates.

In addition, assistance with, and completion of, ad-hoc tax compliance tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of Corporate Federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Preparation of Partnership Federal, state, and local income tax return.
• Preparation of Federal, state, and local estimated tax payments.
• Preparation of fixed asset reports and deduction included in Federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Tax compliance related tasks as identified by the Tax Director.

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Federal corporate/partnership tax knowledge.
• State and local corporate/partnership tax knowledge
• Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
