About Us:

We are a emerging holding company with a growing portfolio of businesses in the manufacturing sector.. As we continue to grow through acquisitions, we’re seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented In-House Legal Counsel to join our team and provide hands-on legal guidance across a variety of business matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HR-related employment guidance , ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Review and draft deal term sheets and other transactional documents.
• Review, negotiate, and advise on commercial lease agreements for buildings and office spaces.
• Draft and review consulting agreements , employee offer letters , and related business contracts.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on due diligence and legal documentation for acquisitions and other transactions.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
• Make sure all companies are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• JD preferred — but we are open to experienced paralegals with strong transactional and corporate background.
• Experience as in-house counsel or with a reputable law firm.
• Solid understanding of US, California corporate, employment, and contract law .
• Experience with private equity or manufacturing investment firms is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.
