Job Description

Our client, a children’s apparel manufacturer, is seeking a Graphic Artist to join their New York City based team! In this collaborative and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for creating new graphics for girl’s apparel.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Create original artwork, sketching prints and graphics for multiple brands
• Keep up to date on new trends in kids market
• Comment, scale and proof print files with color team
• Collaborate with the design team to manage art deadlines and ensure that graphics are in line with customer image and aesthetic
• Maintain files of production ready artwork

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• Expert photoshop and illustrator skills
• Creative sketching and illustrator skills
• Strong sense of color
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Proactive team player with strong initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
