A nationally recognized engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join its Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a wide range of infrastructure and development projects while growing within a technically focused and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct subsurface investigations, field testing, and laboratory analysis
  • Perform geotechnical evaluations for foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, and pavements
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and design recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project delivery
  • Assist with proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • PE license (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
  • 3-8 years of geotechnical engineering experience
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with geotechnical software such as gINT, GeoStudio, or PLAXIS is a plus
