In the role of Environmental Intern , we'll count on you to:

  • Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Work on a wide variety of environmental compliance, natural resources, and permitting/planning projects for a range of water, transportation, and power infrastructure projects
  • Assist senior and mid-level scientists and planners on natural resources studies, environmental reviews, and permitting in Western Washington
  • Will require in-person participation in home office on a weekly basis.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Preference will be given to local candidates

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
