Job Description

Titan International in Union City, TN is currently searching for a Safety & EHS Manager. The Safety & EHS Manager leads the development and execution of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive safety culture. This role drives continuous improvement in EHS performance and supports operational excellence across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and investigations to identify risks, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to managers, supervisors, and employees on safety practices, regulatory requirements, and incident prevention.
• Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes, including workers’ compensation claims.
• Oversee EHS documentation, reporting, and metrics tracking (e.g., energy, waste, water, KPIs).
• Coordinate EHS committees, training programs, and external audits, and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering required; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
