Position Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Electrician to support daily operations and maintenance of electrical systems across multiple plant areas. This role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and installations to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime or shift work may be required to support plant operations)

📍 Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Pay: $38.50 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues across all plant areas, including production, loadout, and support buildings.
• Perform installations and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical motors.
• Perform periodic calibration of scales and monitoring equipment.
• Inspect and maintain electrical lighting and air compressor systems.
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure bulk loadout and packaging equipment are operating efficiently; repair as needed.
• Service and repair motor control centers, sensors, limit switches, and other electrical field devices.
• Replace or repair motors, belts, and chains as necessary.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, safety repair requests, and emergency maintenance issues.
• Assist with preparing parts orders and maintaining inventory of electrical components.
• Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned to support plant operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and proper PPE use.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Must provide personal hand tools rated for electrical work (company provides power tools).
• Commitment to following all safety rules and attending required safety training.
