Now Hiring: Director of IT — Spare Time Entertainment

Ready to lead the technology behind the fun? Spare Time Entertainment is looking for a Director of IT to oversee and elevate our network, systems, and security across all locations. This role blends strategy with hands-on leadership- perfect for someone who can think big, dig into details, and keep everything running smoothly in a high-energy, multi-site environment.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all IT systems, infrastructure, and security across our entertainment centers
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of thin client computers company-wide
• Program, maintain, and support both proprietary and temporary systems used across operations
• Review and securely memorialize surveillance footage when incidents occur
• Maintain network connectivity, performance, and data integrity
• Manage antivirus, encryption, and backup environments for servers, files, and workstations
• Monitor compliance, security certificates, and system performance
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and locations
• Lead software and hardware upgrades, installations, and configurations
• Anticipate technology needs and assist with budgeting and cost forecasts
• Travel to locations to assess, maintain, and optimize systems on-site
• Stay up to date on emerging tech and help drive innovation throughout the business

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of progressive IT management experience
• Strong background in Windows 10+, Windows Server 2012 R2+, Active Directory, Exchange / Office 365, and Network Storage
• Experience with hardware and network troubleshooting, including video conferencing and mobile systems
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) and programming (C#, T-SQL, .NET)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to balance urgency with long-term planning
