Job Description

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s team. This role is essential in supporting our sales operations by managing customer quotes, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth inventory and order processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a customer-first mindset and a knack for organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customer quotes for Sales team members and direct customers.
• Track quote status throughout the lifecycle, ensuring timely execution and resolution of issues.
• Process vendor quotes based on approved discounts and multipliers.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Establish new customer accounts via phone, email, or collaboration with the Sales team.
• Coordinate with Engineering to fulfill project requests and forward documentation for customer review.
• Prepare and distribute documentation containing customer specifications for Engineering, Accounting, and Quality teams.
• Maintain and monitor CRM entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support inventory control activities for raw materials and office/warehouse supplies.
• Communicate inventory levels, shipment arrivals, and product returns with internal teams and customers.
• Process orders for raw materials and miscellaneous supplies efficiently, resolving supplier issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in business services, customer service, or purchasing.
• Prior experience in linear motion control or manufacturing industry preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay:

• $20/hr - $23/hr
