Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Lewisville, TX | Onsite (remote work available after 90 days)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (first 3 months); may adjust to 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. based on business needs

Compensation: $20/hour

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative supports customers by providing timely updates on orders and shipments, resolving issues through coordination with internal and external teams, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role requires strong multitasking skills, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to provide status updates on orders and shipments.
  • Track shipments on various platforms (internal system, carrier websites) and resolve issues by coordinating with related departments.
  • Provide detailed product information, assist with order entry platforms, and guide customers through specification troubleshooting.
  • Assist with entering and researching Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) requests.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the internal shipping teams and/or shipping companies to resolve shipment-related inquiries.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including overseas team, to gather information and address customer concerns effectively.
  • Enter order notes in the system and escalate issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
  • Follow documented Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines to complete daily assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and customer data.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing customer concerns.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and initiative.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Candidates must achieve an 80% or higher on a required assessment.

  • Familiarity with phone systems.
