Job Description

Ambassador Duty Free Detroit is seeking a Custodian employee to join our world-class, growing team. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals who enjoy working in lively, customer centric environments.

• Pay: $22.00/hr.
• $2.00/hr. night shift bonus between 6p-6a
• Full time schedule = Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Part time schedule = Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Working both indoors and outdoors
• Maintaining the fuel pumps
• General grounds maintenance and custodial tasks
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Wash windows, walls, and glass surfaces as needed.
• Unloading trucks, stocking the warehouse, and providing customer service

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Availability that includes evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with a strong sense of urgency
• Versatility – ability to work in our warehouse, in the store, and outdoors

Our facility is located in a secure U.S. Customs environment and provides visiting guests with a unique shopping experience. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background screen.
