Corporate Trainer Job Description

Job Summary:

At TempWorks, the Corporate Trainer provides comprehensive training on our software applications and products to our clients. The Corporate Trainer’s primary responsibilities include delivering tailored product training both in-person and virtually, creating and maintaining training materials, and acting as a subject matter expert. The Corporate Trainer role requires exceptional soft skills and capabilities to build customer trust and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The Corporate Trainer may be required to travel to on-site client locations for training.

General Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tailored product training sessions for groups 20 or more, both in-person and virtually, ensuring attendees learn application features and functions within the context of their roles
  • Develop, create, and regularly update training materials and user documentation
  • Become a subject matter expert for TempWorks products and 3rd party integrations
  • Build customer trust and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Assist Sales teams by conducting product demonstrations as needed
  • Implement training programs and make necessary adjustments to enhance course effectiveness
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites approximately 35% of the time, with the possibility of increased travel during peak periods
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the training team

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in effectively utilizing a wide range of complex technologies and digital tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient in instructional design, capable of developing engaging and well-structured training programs and materials to convey complex software concepts to learners effectively
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the staffing industry to effectively comprehend how our software will impact our clients (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and promote understanding among trainees
  • Skilled at assessing trainee needs and crafting targeted learning strategies that drive results
  • Agile approach to adapt training materials and approaches to incorporate industry trends, updates, and trainee feedback for continuous improvement

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds when necessary
  • Valid driver's license preferred
